Prego with a green iguana?

What are the risks of having a green iguana while pregnant?? I have heard to make sure to wash my hands after handling him. But what if he scratches me, Is that dangerous?? And why do sometimes I feel dizzy when im holding him? Is it because im balanceing him on my head or just what I have been told puts crazy stuff in my head or is it something serious??
