Where are the northernmost coconut palms in the world growing?

Its a somewhat random question, but I recently heard about the coconut tree growing in newport beach, California, and was amazed that coconuts can grow so far from the equator. If anyone else knows some good examples of coconut trees growing in strange climates (Mediterranean maybe?) put em down here.
