If I skip this month's placebo pills, will I change the start of next month's period?

I take Ortho-Tricyclin and will begin my period next week. I really don't like when next month's period will come (travelling), and would like to move it up a week if possible. I know if I skip the placebo pills this month I will have breakthrough bleeding. But will my expected period date for next month be a week earlier (and finished when it would have previously started)? I don't want to deal with a month of breakthrough if I'm not sure it will be resolved by the week I should have started my period next month.
