I think I'm smart enough to go to college to learn Nursing, but ...?

... I'm very weak in the stomach when it comes to vomit and feces; however, blood and needles do not bother me. I know in the U.S. right now, there is a real nursing shortage, and I'm wondering how rewarding of a career this would be if chose to go into that profession. (I have been a Medical Transcriptionist for the past 20 years, which is a field that is becoming obsolete.)
