Has anyone ever had the bad luck of watching Cannibal Holocaust?

Yeah it's pretty bad. A lot of gore and violence. There were some animals killed. I know the monkeys that were killed were given to the locals that hunt the monkeys already. The guy that made the movie is really ashamed and would like to remake it but without danger to any of the animals.
