Grandparents rights if abusive?

I am 24 and have a 3 year old daughter. While visiting my parents house last night my mother ( who I believe is sick in the head ) freaked out on everyone and without me provoking her she ran after me while I was gathering my child and beat me repeatedly with a mug and shoved me into a house and has severly sprained the muscles in around my collarbone and has possibly ruptured the ectopic pregnancy I may have ( tests are being done ) to defend myself from getting hit again I punched her in the face but not hard, honestly my hand didnt hurt one bit and she didnt even look taken back by it> I didnt want to hurt her. When she lunged at me again I kicked her in the stomach. I was trying to reach for my hysterical child because I didnt want her to see. I was trying to leave the whole time. Since then she's threatening to charge me ( i have not responded back to anything ) and will either be trying to get full or shared custody. I am a very good mother. everyone I know tells me that. I have dedicated my life to my child. Do I have a chance of losing her? Does my mother have any rights to my child?
