1st consultation with a fertility expert. What should I expect?

I will have my first consultation with a fertility/infertility specialist this afternoon. I'm excited. My husband and I have waited and tried so long (too long in my opinion) to have a baby and our dreams may finally come true. I just want to know from those who have gone to a specialist what to expect on the first visit.
